Airbus Blue Sky is Airbus’ gateway to future technologies. The department defines the direction of fundamental research at the centre of the international organisation. We are ambassadors for academic-level research in industry. Our goal is to impact both the scientific and aerospace worlds through collaborative research projects, white paper studies, and workshops. We work on novel research ideas without the constraints of product-oriented near-term development objectives.

Examples of our topics are:

➢ Quantum Computing

➢ Quantum Communication

➢ Quantum Sensing

➢ Computational Neuroscience

➢ Micro-organisms growing new Aerospace Materials and Processes

➢ Airbus Blue Sky Workshop series, Challenges, Hackathons, Trainings, ...

The presentation will highlight some of the identified material topics for future aerospace research and applications and clarify the next steps and possible contributions from the scientific community.
